Watermelon + Basil + Mozzarella Skewers 🍉🌱

Watermelon Mozzarella skewers always go really fast, so be sure to make a bunch!

Since there are only a few simple ingredients used here, I really recommend using the absolute freshest, highest quality ingredients you can get your hands on…it makes all the difference.

10 skewers

Ingredients:

  • ½ medium seedless watermelon
  • fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cups mini mozzarella balls
  • 10, 6-inch bamboo skewers

Optional:

  • sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper
  • high-quality balsamic vinegar
  • extra virgin olive oil

Instructions:

Cut the ripe watermelon into 1 – inch cubes.

To assemble your skewers, thread a mozzarella ball, followed by a few leaves of fresh basil, a watermelon cube, fresh basil, another watermelon cube, fresh basil, and the last ball of mozzarella.

Repeat with the remaining ingredients as shown.

Arrange your skewers onto a serving platter then sprinkle lightly with optional ingredients as desired and serve immediately.
