Meet Raechel, Who Lost 14 Pounds During the 30 Day Challenge!
My name is Raechel. I’m 46 years old. I have 3 children & 1 granddaughter. I love running and hiking. I am an esthetician and run a salon.
Before I started the Clean Eating Challenge, I was unable to stick to healthy meals. I knew what was healthy and what was not, but I had no time to cook, especially dinner. I made meals I thought were “easy” to make: Spaghetti, casseroles, etc. I ate a lot of sugar at night, ice cream while watching TV was my favorite.
My biggest challenge was finding the time to meal prep. But once I set aside time…
Meal Prep Became a Game-Changer.
The recipes from Clean Food Crush helped me out tremendously. I now plan my menu for 3 days out. With a planned menu for dinner time, I don’t start worrying at work what I’m making for dinner tonight. The afternoon snack is a great help as well.
I’m not starving and having to make a meal. I still would love to eat ice cream in bed, but I settle for a cup of tea. I have quite a collection of different herbal teas now.
I think about all I’ve accomplished and remember, I don’t want to undo all the good I’ve done.
I’m a migraine sufferer, and eating clean has reduced the number of my migraines. I use to have 4-6 a month. But I only had 1 migraine this last month, which is a really big deal for me!!
I lost 14 lbs in 4 weeks and have 2 more to go to get to my goal weight.
My favorite meals from the Challenge are the Honey Lime Sriracha Chicken Lettuce Wraps and the Asian Beef and Mango Salad.
I would tell anyone thinking of joining to take that leap of faith and Join the Challenge. I haven’t been able to shed even 5 pounds in 2 years. I lost 14 in 4 weeks. And I feel fabulous. My favorite thing about weight loss is feeling how flat my belly is! Lol. Just jump in with both feet and do it!
