Bacon-Wrapped Avocado Fries
Pretty much our ULTIMATE snack of choice here at the CleanFoodCrush HQ.
Takes just a few minutes to make these for the entire crew. I’m super interested to hear how you like them!
Makes about 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 medium, ripe-but-firm avocados, cut in halves pit removed
- 2-3 fresh lemon wedges
- freshly ground black pepper
- 16 thin strips of pasture-raised, nitrate-free bacon
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees f and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the avocado into thin wedges lengthwise, about 4 per half, as shown.
- Gently remove the peel from the avocado slices then wrap each one with a strip of bacon, and place on the baking sheet.
- Depending on how thin your bacon strips are, bake for 10-15 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
- Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper and serve with a squeeze of lemon.
Enjoy!
