Brea Lost 10.8 Pounds in 30 Days!

Meet Brea, Who Lost 10.8 Pounds during our CleanFoodCrush 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge!

My name is Brea and I am 39 (soon to be 40) years old. I have been married for 16 years and am a mother to two children, ages 8 and 5. I am also the science specialist for the largest school district in Arizona and spend most of my time behind a computer. My activity level is very low, which has caused me to gain weight pretty quickly after leaving my classroom for a desk job. While I do love science, I also have a separate degree and interior design. My husband and I complete DIY projects for fun, and we even have a side business updating homes doing minor renovations.

Like most families, (I am sure)  we are busy. We needed to change how we were eating. Our family enjoyed eating fast food. We would eat out two meals a day and blamed our poor food choices on being too busy to cook. We also dislike cooking – and we hated eating anything we would make ourselves. We definitely enjoyed eating. We would try crash diets, counting calories, pre-prepped foods (expensive!!!), two shakes a day, Keto, and anything else you can think of trying! And we failed every time! Sometimes we would give up in less than a week. We completed Whole30 twice in three years but would go right back to our old ways because it wasn’t sustainable.

This is where CleanFoodCrush comes in. I feel we knew mostly what we needed to do, but lacked the motivation to get us going in the right direction. I didn’t know how much I needed CleanFoodCrush because I learned so many valuable things that have changed my life. I had a very unhealthy view of food, specifically carbs. I learned that you can eat carbs and foods that taste good and still lose weight. When I would “diet,” I would avoid all carbs, and I felt that this was my punishment for not exercising and making poor food choices. But with CleanFoodCrush 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge, I enjoyed everything I ate.

The recipes are simple enough even I can make them taste good, and I dislike cooking a little less. This is the first time I have really made cooking fit in my lifestyle. I have also started prepping meals to save time and keep me on track.

My husband also enjoyed the food and said that we can continue doing this (so happy he has enjoyed this change)! And we are currently planning for next week! This will be our new normal and lifestyle!

Changing my relationship with carbs was the best change I made, but in the process, I ate food I loved and lost 10.8 lbs and 10 inches overall.

After months of looking at my bloated upper stomach, I knew I needed a change.

I couldn’t suck that part of my stomach in if I tried, and the pain was getting worse. I knew my pain was caused by what I was eating. Everything I ate just made me feel worse. Within two weeks of the 30-day challenge, my upper stomach bloat was gone. I was ecstatic! Now I can’t wait to see how I continue to change and feel better in my skin!

When looking to make a lifestyle change, I needed to find a plan that was not gimmicky. I did not want to buy food bars and shakes. I really wanted to eat real food. And CleanFoodCrush was precisely what our family needed.

My daughter is starting to incorporate healthier foods into her diet! As a family, this has changed how we eat, our energy levels, and how we interact with each other.
