Meet Carrie, Who Lost 20.5 Pounds and 8 Inches Since Starting CleanFoodCrush in April.
I first reached out to a friend for some nutrition help in early April. She recommended Rachel and the CleanFoodCrush Challenge after having done it herself last year. I did a little reading and research of my own and quickly decided it was exactly what I was looking for.
I began the first 30-day challenge April 30th, continued with the May 28th challenge, and have carried it out each month since.
The Results I Have Seen are Innumerable:
- The most obvious to others is that I have lost 20.5 lbs and 8.5 inches.
- The best change for me is that I have gained energy
- I am sleeping so much better – falling asleep quicker and not waking multiple times a night
- I feel rested
- My body doesn’t ache when I wake
- While I had been battling acne in my early thirties, my face has cleared up and is looking younger and more vibrant.
My favorite features of CleanFoodCrush are the way the weeks are broken down with easy to follow guides and recipes. I also love that there is no calorie or point counting, only a focus on eating the right amounts of the right foods and learning what effects foods and chemicals have on our bodies. I have become an avid label reader and now know what I do and don’t want to see on the labels of the foods I purchase.
The fact that I continue to see and feel results four months into this journey and that I am feeling like a new person keeps me motivated. Achy joints, stomach issues, and fatigue are no longer daily struggles, and I want to keep those at bay and keep feeling as good and as healthy as I possibly can.
I recently shared a before and after picture on my personal facebook page and had a number of friends reach out for information. I know of several who have joined the challenge, my mom, sister, and brother in law have all begun to follow Rachel and use her clean eating recipes daily, and my husband did the challenges with me and continues to follow the program and has seen significant results as well.
I tell everyone who will listen about CleanFoodCrush, and I love sharing this program because I believe in the research and science behind it, I have seen for myself that it works, and I know it’s sustainable for the long run.
Knowing what I know now, I would absolutely have started a clean eating lifestyle much sooner. So many ailments and issues we tend to attribute to aging are truly just byproducts of a poor diet. In so many aspects of life, we get out what we put in, and that is no different when fueling our bodies.
For me, once I made the decision to participate in the challenge, I was laser focused and had no trouble sticking to the plan. I do, however, believe that the accountability factor that the challenge group provides is crucial for those who need to see and hear from others who are facing some of the same challenges, to see others’ progress, and to have a place to share highs and lows.
I think the hardest part, as with most things in life, is getting started.
The advice I give everyone I’ve shared the program with is just stay with it! If you can power through the first week, it will become second nature.
It takes a bit of time to get in tune with what your body needs, but once you figure it out, it’s smooth sailing. I also thoroughly appreciated the advice from the group moderators that we have to be patient and kind with ourselves and that just because you have one bad meal or one bad day does not mean that your progress is ruined. You simply move on and have a better next meal or next day. What a refreshing mindset!
