“Bang Bang” Style Cauliflower Steak
These are SO GOOD & pretty EASY to make!
Put the ingredients on your shopping list ASAP and make yourself an incredible treat using one of MY favorite veggies – the amazing (chameleon of vegetables) CAULIFLOWER!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE roasted cauliflower this way. It’s crispy on the outside, seasoned just right, and surprisingly hearty!
The Bang Bang Sauce drizzle is a very welcome addition and turns these roasted cauliflower steaks into CRAVEWORTHY snack food while being covert healthy!
For Meal Prep:
Place your leftovers into glass food prep containers in the fridge to reheat for future meals throughout the week. Cauliflower These reheat very well in an air fryer.
Store sauce separately. I recommend storing this dish in the fridge for 2-3 days max.
Cauliflower has a lot going for it. Not only is it one of the most versatile veggies, but it also contains some of every vitamin you need, as well as a healthy dose of fiber.
Not bad for a veggie that’s 92% water!
Cauliflower is rich in antioxidants, low in carbs and calories … PLUS it has protective qualities to guard against cancer and heart disease! It’s also a good source of choline, which helps your metabolism, cell health, and supports many processes in your body.
Because of its mild taste, it can be added to a number of recipes to replace less nutrient-dense, higher-carb ingredients.
It can be used a ton of different ways in your meals – steamed or roasted, turned into “rice,” mashed like potato, or even shredded and used in bread and pizza crust!

Here’s How To Make Homemade Mayonnaise
6 servings
Ingredients:
For The Cauliflower Steaks:
- 2 small heads of cauliflower
- 2 Tbsps avocado oil or olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt, or to taste
- 2 Tbsps freshly minced parsley or cilantro
For The Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1/4 cup homemade mayo or Greek yogurt
- 1 Tbsp hot sauce of choice
- 2 tsps raw honey or pure maple syrup
- 2 tsps wine, rice, or apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees f. and line 2 large sheet pans with parchment paper.
Slice both of your cauliflower into 1-inch slices and arrange them onto the prepared sheet pans as shown. Add in any broken bits too.
Sprinkle with all of the seasonings and drizzle with the oil. Use your clean hands to rub in the seasonings and oil on all sides.
Roast for around 25 minutes, flipping halfway.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together well all the bang bang sauce ingredients.
Transfer your sauce to a small ziplock bag or piping bag and refrigerate until ready to use.
Once your cauliflower steaks are finished roasting, carefully transfer them to a large platter.
Cut just a tiny corner from the corner of your bang bang sauce ziplock bag. Alternatively, you may simply drizzle using a spoon or put in a sauce cup for dipping.
Pipe the sauce all over your cauliflower steaks, then sprinkle with parsley.
Enjoy while hot!
