Meet Rachel, Who Lost 11.4 Pounds and 5 inches in During the CleanFoodCrush 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge!
My name is Rachel, and I’m 41 years old. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and I’ve been blessed with two children, ages 15 and 11. I currently reside in Southern California, working full time as a Senior Payroll Specialist for an investment management firm. I love spending quality time with my family (I’m a homebody), riding my Peloton, and fellowshipping amongst members within my local church community.
Upon completing the 30 Day Challenge, I lost 11.4 pounds, and 5 inches in my waist. I’m pressing on and participating in another 30 day challenge.
Since having my children, I’ve struggled with weight loss. I’d lose, then I’d gain it back. I never had enough energy. My family is very busy, and we’re (normally) on the go a lot.
I would find myself extremely fatigued and having to take power naps throughout the day when I could just to maintain.
I was tired of being tired.
It was time for a change. I needed a complete overhaul of not only my body, but my mind and my mental state. I was worth it! I realized that even with exercise, I had to change my thought process on food. It was time. I signed up for the challenge that day.
CleanFoodCrush has taught me WHAT to eat, HOW to fuel my body, and the importance of READING LABELS. Not only that, but to be gentle and kind to myself on my journey; to not look behind, but ahead.
Honestly, I began to see and feel a difference after Week 1.
- I had so much energy!
- My skin was glowing!
- My low back pain went away!
My family supported me; they knew how important it was to me and my success. Every day, they’d tell me “Good job” or “That’s great” or even “I see you!”.
There’s no better feeling in the world than when others can also see that your hard work and dedication is paying off.
My advice to those who are newcomers, or are on the fence about taking the challenge is YOU GOT THIS. You CAN and you WILL! You are worth it!
