Lisa Lost 14 Pounds in 30 Days Eating Clean!

Hi there,

My name is Lisa Colon, I am 44 years old, I have a husband, 4 children living home and 3 stepchildren. I am a controller for a hotel near Disney in Orlando.

All of our kids are active with sports, so you will find me somewhere with my kids all the time, usually at a park or baseball field.

I started the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge on Feb 11th, 2019 and lost 14 lbs during the first 30 days. Since then I have been averaging a loss of 1 – 1.5 lbs per week and I am NOT hungry at all. I snack and eat all day – I’m just making better choices.

Before I found CleanFoodCrush I snacked on anything I could find (usually junk) from the minute I got home and never felt full. I wanted/needed sugar all the time. I never felt satisfied even after eating.

The biggest thing I took from my first go with the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge was the education. I was shocked to learn that many of the foods I thought were healthy were actually not good for me at all!

I still struggle with reading labels and going to the supermarket takes me longer because I read all the labels carefully, but that is my way of learning.

We all need to eat – but what we eat is so much more important than I used to understand. Food is fuel!

The results I’ve experienced on the challenge have been phenomenal!

  • My clothes feel so much better. All of my work pants are WAY too big now!
  • My legs look thinner
  • I have always struggled with acne/cysts under my skin, and now my face is the clearest it has ever been – getting rid of the sugar has helped.
  • I feel and look younger.

My kids are curious and are always talking about my “healthy food”. I have slipped in quite a few of Rachel’s recipes for dinner, and they don’t even realize they are eating healthy!

The protein balls are a hit at my house – now the kids snack on something healthy instead of junk.

At first, I was spending a lot of time in the kitchen preparing my meals and making new recipes. I think the family thought I was overdoing it, but they see now that it has made me happy and excited and has become a hobby as well as a lifestyle.

My advice if you’re curious about the program is to trust the process. I felt terrible the first week or two while going through the detox – but it gets so much better.

You must commit fully for the first 30 days, and you will see that it does not even take 30 days to start reprogramming your taste buds and cravings.

The support from the group is fantastic. All the members are great, but the CleanFoodCrush admins are truly AMAZING. They answer questions and provide support almost immediately. It is worth every penny!

I finished in early March and just joined as an annual member because I miss the Facebook group – having other people to turn to is so helpful – and you learn so much every day.

Even though I am in my second round, I am still learning and picking up new recipes etc. This motivates program is designed to motivate you to keep going. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made!
